Emotional Development

At Join the Dots Forest School, we foster your child’s emotional development through a wide range of experiences at our regular sessions. Talking about feelings and how the experience was for them in a non-judgmental setting helps to develop your child’s self esteem, resilience, and confidence. We use the Forest School Five star paradigm.

Tree climbing

Confidence is developed through physical challenges such as games that involve climbing trees as well as freedom to climb at will.

Knots and Lashings

Children are invited to learn knots and lashings to give them the freedom to create their own furniture, decorations or musical instruments. Emotional intelligence is developed as the children share their thoughts and ideas with others, free of judgement.
